About 15 hours without power, and no water pressure at the moment. But all is well here. No major structural damage. A storm drain came loose, but nothing else really to speak of where I am. Lots of leaves/branches, but nothing that did any major damage.
We lost power at about 1am this morning, and it JUST came back on. Wanted to let everyone know we're all right. We still have no water pressure, but we have plenty of bottled water and gallon jugs, so we're doing fine here.
Still staying in place, because the city asked us to so that emergency vehicles and clean up crews can get through.
I'm glad I live in a well populated area. They had said on the radio that they expected about 4 weeks to get everyone with power. They were going to restore areas that effect the most people first and then work their way out.
Thanks for the well wishes. :) Everything went fine, and the power couldn't have come on at a better time. It was getting really hot in our apartment.
